Part-Time Seasonal Order Fulfillment Associate

Bows Arts is seeking a seasonal part-time order fulfillment associate to work out of our Glenview, IL office for the holiday season ranging from early November 2020 through January 2021. 

We are looking for a candidate with a great eye for detail and someone who can stay organized and on task during the chaotic holiday season. 

Job Responsibilities

• Package hair bows, clips, headbands, and accessories for direct to consumer website orders (Shopify site) and small store wholesale orders
• Fold boxes, print shipping labels, card products
• Double check all orders are correct and complete
• Maintain top speed and efficiency while ensuring accuracy
• Complete every order with care and maintain a high quality standard with our Bows Arts speciality packaging (every order is a special gift to our customers!)
• Assist in stocking and organizing finished products and supplies (ribbon, clips, etc.)
• Assist in checking incoming products and supplies for quality
• Communicate to Operations Manager of any inventory needs or product quality issues
• Help keep workspace clean and organized
• Assist Operations Manager with ad hoc tasks or projects as needed

 Qualifications: 

• Strong attention to detail (we have hundreds of bows, sizes, and colors!)
• Positive attitude and a great team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency using an online order fulfillment system
• A knack for picking up a process and running with it
• Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
• A love for fashion and supporting small handmade local businesses
• Previous retail or order fulfillment experience is a plus
